What Makes Us Different?

We offer workout classes that feel like they were made just for you. Every session is led by a trained, specialized coach who takes the time to understand each member’s needs, abilities, and goals. Our intentionally small group classes allow for meaningful coaching, ensuring that every exercise is performed with proper form and confidence.

We believe how you train matters just as much as how hard you train. That’s why our programs are thoughtfully structured to support different fitness levels, helping each individual build strength safely and effectively over time. With over 30 years of coaching experience shaping our approach — and a long history of serving adults of all ages —safety, progression, and personal attention remain at the heart of everything we do.

We invite you to join a community of individuals committed to bettering themselves, supporting one another, and building strength with purpose.

What our clients say:

“Caring. Motivating. Knowledgeable.

These three words describe Kristy and how she has influenced my health journey. I was fortunate to meet Kristy about three years ago. At that time, I was stuck in terms of my physical and mental health. I was overweight, in pain from years of arthritis, living a sedentary lifestyle and overwhelmed by my role as a caregiver. Kristy helped me see that I could improve my health one step, one modification, one positive thought at a time. Exercise hurts? Try it a different way, and you'll still get there. My health journey has never been a straight line, but because she saw me as an individual, I am here today, 37 pounds lighter, off two major medicines, and with a degree of confidence and mindset that I never thought I would achieve. I am forever grateful for her and her passion for helping others succeed towards their goals.”

“Kristy has been my FOA coach for over 3 ½ years. Her knowledge and understanding of how our bodies age and how to keep them functioning at maximum capacity is incomparable. Her true gift is how she shares her expertise in group classes that become like families responding to her energetic charm and encouragement. She creates an atmosphere where everyone looks forward to gathering and improving his/her fitness. Her classes are designed to meet the needs of all different levels. Christy offers coaching from her heart and truly cares about every one of her proteges.”

“I have worked with Coach Kristy for the past 3 ½ years privately and in groups. She has supported my exercise journey through severe illness and a diagnosis of a progressive autoimmune diagnosis. Kristy develops programs to support strength and flexibility for individuals experiencing the aging process while facing other challenges. Kristy modifies workouts based on my form performing each exercise in order to avoid injury or becoming discouraged from continuing to challenge myself. Working out with Coach Kristy is always fun and enjoyable due to the sincere care and thoughtfulness of this amazing personal trainer and teacher!”
